Refund & Cancellation Policy

Last updated 7 September 2026

This policy covers appointments and services paid for in advance, including online payment through our payment gateway. Most patients pay at the clinic and this rarely comes up — but if you have paid in advance, here is exactly how cancelling, rescheduling and refunds work.

1. What this policy covers

This policy applies to consultation and service fees paid online in advance, by card, UPI or net banking, through the clinic’s payment gateway or a payment link or QR code sent by the clinic. It does not apply to fees paid in person by cash, card or UPI at the clinic, which are settled directly at reception.

2. Cancelling or rescheduling

You can cancel or reschedule a paid appointment by calling, WhatsApping or emailing us — see contact. We would rather you reschedule than cancel outright, and we will always try to find you another convenient slot with the same doctor first.

  • Cancelling or rescheduling with reasonable advance notice qualifies for a full refund of any amount paid online.
  • A late cancellation, or not arriving for a paid appointment without telling us, may not be refunded — the slot was held for you and could not be offered to another patient.
  • If the clinic has to reschedule you — a doctor is unavailable, or an emergency comes up ahead of you — you get a full refund or a rebooked slot, whichever you prefer.

3. How refunds are processed

Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method used. Once approved, they are processed within a few working days, though the exact time it takes to reflect in your account depends on your bank or card issuer and is outside our control.

4. Services already provided

A fee for a consultation, test or procedure that has already been carried out is not refundable. Where a service was only partly completed — for example a test that had to be stopped part-way through for a clinical reason — a partial refund may be given at the clinic’s discretion, reflecting what was and was not delivered.

5. Duplicate or incorrect charges

If you believe you were charged twice, charged the wrong amount, or charged for something you did not book, tell us as soon as you notice — see contact. We will check the payment gateway’s records and refund any amount that should not have been taken, in full.

This clinic does not sell or ship physical goods, so nothing here concerns product returns. See the delivery & shipping policy for how that applies to a clinic.

6. Circumstances beyond our control

Occasionally a scheduled appointment cannot go ahead for reasons outside anyone’s control — a medical emergency involving the doctor, a natural event, a strike, or a disruption to the payment gateway or banking systems themselves. In any of these cases, you are offered a full refund or a rebooked slot, whichever you would prefer, and we will not treat it as a late cancellation on your part.

7. Governing law

This policy is governed by the laws of India, including the Consumer Protection Act, 2019. Any dispute is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts at Bengaluru, Karnataka. Before that stage, please give us the chance to put things right — most refund questions are resolved in a single phone call or message.
