Apex Multispecialty Clinic
Cookie notice
Last updated 5 September 2026
A list of what this website actually stores on your device — not a generic template. If a cookie is not named on this page, we are not setting it.
1. The short version
- Decline analytics and nothing is stored except your choice not to be measured.
- Accept and we set analytics cookies that tell us which pages are read. They do not tell us who you are.
- No health information ever reaches any analytics or advertising tool. Not your enquiry, not your speciality, not your symptoms.
2. The one thing we always store
When you answer the banner, the site saves your answer in your browser’s local storage under the key apex-consent, with the value granted or denied.
- It is not a cookie. It is never sent to our server, and it is never sent to anyone else.
- It exists so the banner does not ask you the same question on every page.
- It stays on that browser, on that device, until you clear the site’s data.
- If your browser blocks local storage, nothing is stored and the banner will simply appear again.
3. What runs only after you accept
The site loads a single script: the Google Tag Manager container. The container is a switchboard. Loading it does not by itself store anything on your device or identify you; the tags inside it are what set cookies, and they are configured not to fire until your consent has been recorded. Your choice is passed to the container as a consent signal the moment you make it.
These are the tags the clinic permits inside the container. Not all of them will be switched on at any given time — a tag can be added or removed there without a change to this website — but this list is the full set, and we will amend this page rather than quietly exceed it.
Google Analytics 4
- What it does: counts visits, pages viewed, time on page, and roughly where in the country visitors are.
- Cookies:
_gaand_ga_*, set on this domain, typically lasting up to two years. - Why: to know which pages people actually read, and which ones nobody finds.
Google Ads conversion measurement
- What it does: tells us whether a visitor who arrived from an advertisement went on to make an enquiry.
- Cookies:
_gcl_*, typically lasting up to 90 days. - Why: so the clinic can tell whether money spent on advertising an opening or a clinic timing was worth spending.
Microsoft Clarity
- What it does: records anonymous interaction — scrolling, clicks, where people give up on a page.
- Cookies:
_clckand_clsk, lasting up to a year and one day respectively. - Why: to find pages that are confusing or unreadable on a phone.
- Important: it is configured to mask text you type, so what you enter in the enquiry form is not captured in a recording.
Meta Pixel
- What it does: measures visits arriving from Facebook or Instagram.
- Cookies:
_fbp, typically lasting 90 days. - Why: the same reason as the Ads tag, for a different channel.
4. What is never sent to any of these
What these tools see is a page address, a rough location, a device type and a click. If we ever measured an enquiry as a “conversion”, the tool would be told that an enquiry happened — never who made it or what it said.
5. What we do not do
- We do not set any advertising or analytics cookie before you accept.
- We do not build a profile of you and we do not sell or share one.
- We do not use cookies to work out anything about your health, and we do not target advertising at people based on a condition.
- We do not embed social media “like” or comment widgets that would track you across other sites.
- There is no login on this site, so there are no account or session cookies.
6. Changing your mind
Consent should be as easy to withdraw as it was to give. Being honest about where we are: the site does not yet have a “change your preferences” button on the page. Until it does, here is how to withdraw consent, and each of these genuinely works.
- Clear this site’s data in your browser. In most browsers this is under Settings, then Privacy, then site settings or cookies and site data. Removing the data for this site deletes
apex-consentalong with the analytics cookies. The banner will appear again on your next visit, and you can choose Decline. - Block cookies for this site, or browse in a private window. The site works normally either way — nothing on it needs a cookie to function.
- Write to us at grievance@apexmultispecialtyclinic.com and ask us to remove the analytics record associated with your visit. Tell us roughly when you visited so we can find it.
Declining costs you nothing. Every page, the enquiry form, the phone numbers and the directions all work exactly the same way with analytics switched off.
7. Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control
Browsers can send a “do not track” or Global Privacy Control signal. There is no settled standard for how a website must answer these, and we do not want to claim a protection we have not built. What we do instead is simple and verifiable: nothing measures you until you press Accept.
8. More detail, and who to ask
What we do with information you send us deliberately — as opposed to what is stored on your device — is in the privacy policy. Questions about either go to grievance@apexmultispecialtyclinic.com, and we reply within 30 days.
This page was drafted for Apex Multispecialty Clinic to describe how the clinic actually intends to work. It is not legal advice and it has not been certified by a lawyer. The clinic’s legal advisor should read it and confirm it before the site goes live.
